Wallace “Wally” Hamlin is a Clinical Professional Counselor holding licenses in Illinois and Tennessee. He has over 40 years of experience as a mental health professional which includes: Founder and Executive Director, Kendall County Human Services, Kendall County’s first Comprehensive Community Based Mental Health Center. Human Services evolved into Kendall County Health and Human Services, (now Kendall County Health Department) where Hamlin was Executive Director and Public Health Administrator. Leaving Since leaving Kendall County after 20 years of service, Hamlin has been Chief Clinical Officer of a licensed child welfare agency serving treatment level foster and adoptive children, teens and their families. He then became Corporate National Clinical Director of a company which operates therapeutic day schools, outpatient mental health clinics and residential treatment centers in multiple states. In July of 2107 he retired as Director of Clinical Services and Programs for a local residential treatment center serving children, teens and their families with specialized mental health programs including an Autism Spectrum Program serving children and teens with co-occurring autism and/or psychiatric and/or neurodevelopmental disorders. He is currently a therapist and clinical director with Neighborhood Counseling Associates, Inc, a Kendall County based not-for-profit, clinical counseling and psychiatric social work agency. Hamlin is a Public Health Fellow with University of Illinois Chicago School of Public Health. He has consulted with mental health agencies throughout the country and has been on the Today Show when they did a segment about Autism.

Robert “Bob” Hamlin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a senior Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor with over 25 years of experience. He, along with his brother Wally, is founder of Neighborhood Counseling Associates, Inc where he serves as therapist and addictions counselor along with specializing in providing individual and family therapy for those with Autism. Bob recently retired as a lead forensic clinical social worker.
He is the father of Ann Hamlin, an author, song writer and student who has Autism. Ann operates a blog which provides hope for those with Autism and powerful insight into what it is like to have Autism for those who have family members, friends or clients with Autism.
